- Irish Whiskey
- Sugar cubes
- Whipped cream
For the whipped cream:
Place 1/4 cup of heavy cream in a medium bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar. Beat vigorously with a whisk until soft peaks form.
For the Irish coffee:
Fill glass with very hot water to pre-heat, then empty.
Pour hot coffee into hot glass until it is about three-quarters full.
Drop in two sugar cubes.
Stir until the sugar is thoroughly dissolved.
Add full jigger of Irish Whiskey to each glass.
Top with a dollop of lightly whipped whipping cream by pouring gently over a spoon.
